Another Couple Recommendations
I think recommending random products from work will become a new feature here. We'll see, but even if it doesn't happen, I need to mention something I had today w/ lunch: Shandy Bass. A shandy is a drink made w/ European Lemonade (more like 7-Up or Sprite than what we think of as Lemonade) & beer. Often, we're talking about a 1-1 beer to lemonade ratio, but the pre-packaged ones are much weaker. That said, Shandy Bass is made w/ Bass Ale. It is surprising alright. I don't know if I'll drink it all the time, but it's definitely worth checking out. It was like a very light beer w/ citrus in it... sort of along the lines of Corona Light. Not fantastic but a nice novelty. In more election news, Visions of Ypsi is proud to endorse Carl Levin for US Senate, John D. Dingell for US House of Representatives, Alma Wheeler Smith for State Rep. & Jerry L. Clayton for sheriff. As for the positions where there is only 1 person running (County Clerk/Register of Deeds, County Treasurer, County Commissioner - District 6, & County Prosecuting Attorney), I suggest y'all write me in. I might not win (or in the case of prosecuting attorney even be qualified), but @ least we'll keep the winners honest. Be sure to vote in the primary next Tues.!

I had one of these shandy-type beers by accident when we were in Germany a few years ago. I thought it was freakin' awful.
Sounds kinda interesting, but also potentially yucky. However, I am a big fan of combining iced tea and lemonade - which I believe is referred to as the "Arnold Palmer". I think it's my favorite non-alchoholic drink. Besides coffee. I also like the new Miller lite limey-citrusy beer, which is VERY weird b/c I think regular Miller and Miller lite are pretty bad. But, it's beer that is citrusy, lite, and kinda sparkling.
This rambling nonsense is what you get when I comment on your blog while at work at 930am on my third cup of coffee. Just so you know.
Since you brought up Carl Levin I am now obligated to bring up the fact that I was once approached about a threesome, or something like that, by some chick that said she was Sander Levin's daughter (thus Carl's niece), and her husband in a bar in Indianapolis. I wasn't clear if the husband wanted to participate or just watch, but either way I was creeped out.
I thought is sounded pretty bad too so I also bought a back up beverage just in case.
I vaguely remember that story about Sander Levin's niece. I still think you should have done it. Her uncle is in Congress for Christ's sake. How often does someone get that oppritunity?
I had a "shandy" at Celtic Fest. It was wet and I was thirsty. i am willing to tweak the basic formula and get something better.
