They were from Traverse City and soon after that night, they moved back to Traverse City.

Thanks for the Bob Denver post... that was apropos of absolutely nothing.Andrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02771785964108319389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707896367787504774.post-82830055513721705112008-02-07T17:52:00.000-05:002008-02-07T17:52:00.000-05:00Those soccer clips are crazy. It's beyond your control.
You and Jason sure know a lot about the globetrotters.Liz Peltier Moyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12697433857899969078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707896367787504774.post-66100943368631616782008-02-07T15:23:00.000-05:002008-02-07T15:23:00.000-05:00The Globetrotters have lost 345 games over the cou...The Globetrotters have lost 345 games over the course of 81 years. However, with over 22,500 wins, the Globetrotters do own the best winning percentage in the history of professional sports.

From 1953 until 1995, the Washington Generals played exhibitions against the Globetrotters, winning only six games and losing more than 13,000.

And here's a sweet Bob Denver fan page:
http://www.bobdenver.com/index.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707896367787504774.post-88280090924385972932008-02-07T14:38:00.000-05:002008-02-07T14:38:00.000-05:00He's in the coaching staff now. I don't know his exact job, but he seemed pretty important.

According to the wikipedia entry, it sure seems fixed. Not to mention the fact that they haven't lost in like 20 years... except in charity games against real teams.Andrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02771785964108319389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707896367787504774.post-37623070630828851032008-02-07T13:45:00.000-05:002008-02-07T13:45:00.000-05:00I saw them at Joe Louis when I was like 8. When I was older, I found out that you could write NBA teams and get free stuff, and the Orlando Magic sent me an autographed picture of Curly Neal that had contact information on it to hire Curly for birthday parties and special occasions. I was appalled that #1 They sent me that. I wanted real NBA players and merchandise! #2 How could Curly be pimping himself out like that? Birthday parties? Maybe he had some fallout with the Globetrotters, but I would think he could've still been playing for them instead of renting himself out like clown.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
